San Diego!!

Cliff graduated at the end of May & recieved his Bachelors Degree, so in celebration we decided to take a little vacation down to San Diego. We left the day after Memorial Day and returned that Sunday. We had so much fun!! Here are some of our pic's. Enjoy!

This is us at the San Diego Temple! It was probably one of the most favorite places we went of the trip because it was just so beautiful!
This is us at Sea World. We had such fun there, so much to see!!

These two pictures are us on the beach. We loved the beach and actually spent quite a bit of time there. It was a little too chilly to swim but it was fun to watch the surfers and hunt for sea shells. I took the picture below and was quite impressed with myself, notice I even captured the bird.

We had a great time, I was so glad we were able to go! I am so proud of Cliff for recieving his bachelors, he worked so hard and definately deserved a little rest and relaxtion!

May

Today is May 16th and we are half way through the Month of May and getting that much closer to Summer! Yeah!!! Here is what this month has brought so far!

My 30th Birthday was on the 4th. Cliff and I took half a day off. He took me to lunch and then we shopped for the rest of the day! When we came home that evening this is what we found. My cute little beehive class had decorated my door and left me a yummy birthday treat!

This is the vent to our dryer, we had two little nasty birds fly in there and try to build a nest, but we solved the problem quickly and so far (cross your fingers) they have not come back! It was quite the traumatizing experience for me, I discovered my hate for birds, especially when they try to invade my house.

This is Aileen and I celebrating our birthdays. They are a day apart so Lynndi made us a yummy dinner and got us this delicious ice cream cake from Coldstone!

This is us at Shoshone Falls! We decided to take a last minute quick trip to Idaho for Mother's Day! There was ALOT of water!!

To Be continued........ Stay tuned for more May Fun!!

Oh the things we do!

Cliff had to work on Saturday so I had a lot of extra time on my hands. I was preparing my lesson for my Young Women ( I teach the beehives) and I decided I wanted to make them a treat. I had read in a magazine quite some time ago a recipe for making homeade fortune cookies, so I jumped online and found a recipe. After experimenting on few batches these are what I came up with. I even put a message in the middle that went along with my lesson. It was a lot of work and Cliff, although impressed, thought it was kind of funny that I had spent the whole afternoon making cookies just to go along with my lesson. I would have to agree with him but the girls really liked them, I learned something new, it was fun and I think they turned out cute.
