Work, Birthday Cakes & Pumpkins!

It has been a while since I last posted. Thing have been pretty busy. Flu season has now begun and so I have been able to put in a few extra hours at work the past couple days. Cliff has also been busy. He has been working 50 hours a week and going to school. It has been a crazy past couple of weeks but things are going well for us right now!

Last weekend I was able to go visit my sister Lynndi and her family in Boise with my sister Aileen and my Mom. We had fun! It was my nieces 3rd birthday and we made her a Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake! It turned out pretty cute. We also went to a pumpkin patch while we were there. We had a great time!

Bear Lake

Cliff and I decided to go camping at Bear Lake this summer,
just the two of us!! We went down Friday around noon and
stayed till Sunday. The only thing we did was camp and hang
out at the beach, It was so relaxing and we had a great time!!


Here we are sitting around our camp fire. We both agreed that
our camp site was a little bit getto. Next time we probably will not
stay there, but now we know for next time. None the less we still
had fun.

Cliff surprised me and took me to the Pickleville Playhouse!!
We saw "The Hanging of El Bandito." I have to admit it was
pretty funny!! We really enjoyed it!! It ended up being one
of my favorite parts of the trip!

sad to leave. WE HAD A BLAST!!

Girls Camp!!

This year I was called as the Girls Camp director for our Ward so I

was able to attend Girls Camp. I had so much fun!!! We went to

Heber Valley Camp located in (that's right you guessed it) Heber

Valley Utah.I was able to go up for the entire time and camp

lasted a week, Monday through Friday. Our camp site was

wonderful. We slept in Cabins and had hot showers,

bathrooms and a outdoor kitchen area. Cliff went to scout camp

the week before I went to girls camp. They went to Bear Lake and

slept in tents and cooked over a fire so he kept referring to our

Girls camp this year as "Camp Cupcake." I am pretty sure

he is just jealous. Anyway the Girls were so great and we were able

to do a lot of fun stuff. I'm so glad I was able to go!!

Summer Fun!

San Francisco

Me, Aileen and Mom went to San Francisco end of June.
We had a great time! We went to the aquarium, Fisherman's Wharf,
Alcatraz and saw the Broadway play Wicked(which by the way was
awesome!!!) It was so much fun!

Going to the Pageant!

Cliff and I went to the Manti Pageant on Friday. We went with
Jim, Monica, Mckinlee and Madison. We left after 6pm on Friday
and got home around 3am Saturday. Needless to say we were a little
tired but it was well worth it . We had a great time! Thanks Jim
and Monica for inviting us, We had a blast!!

We sat in the back so we could make
a mad dash for it after it was over. We still were stuck
in traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Surprisingly we had a
pretty good seat along with a good parking spot.

At the Zoo!

University of Phoenix had a company party at Hogle Zoo! We took Emily and Jake (our niece and nephew) and had so much fun! They fed us dinner, we rode the train and the carousel and looked at all of the animals! Thanks Emmy and Jake for coming with us!
